IZABION — organic fertilizer for use on vegetable, fruit, flower crops and grapes.
IZABION is a biological fertilizer of the latest generation, widely used on practically all crops in countries of Europe, Latin America and Asia.
IZABION consists of a full set of amino acids. Amino acids are part of any protein molecule and part of any chelate — easily absorbed fertilizer. Thus, IZABION is an easily absorbable substance, on the synthesis of which plants do not waste time and energy, receiving necessary nutrition. Amino acids are an essential part of various plant enzymes. Upon application of the fertilizer IZABION, the plant receives the molecule needed to synthesize the required substance at the moment. For example, glutamic acid together with glutamine, aspartic acid and asparagine are responsible for nitrogen assimilation and protein synthesis. As a result, IZABION helps synthesize the necessary substances for obtaining high-quality yields, as well as overcoming the effects of adverse environmental factors. This is possible because IZABION contains glycine and proline, which are responsible for water movement within the plant and plant stress resistance. Proline, in addition, ensures pollen fertility and, as a result, better fruit set. Arginine is a precursor of polyamines and an enhancer of growth regulators' action, therefore IZABION is recommended to be applied in combination with them. IZABION is characterized by rapid absorption and systemic movement within the plant.
IZABION can be applied as a root and foliar feed, as well as with irrigation water (fertigation) throughout the entire vegetative period. The dosage depends on the crop, growth stage, soil, environmental conditions, but for each crop there are phases in which the application of the agrochemical IZABION is most effective.
For fruit and flower crops, grapes, as well as vegetable crops from the Solanaceae and Cucurbitaceae families, the most responsive phase is flowering, since IZABION not only increases pollen fertility, but also extends the life of the stigma, increasing fruit set. Transplantation is a very important moment for all transplanted crops, therefore it is recommended to apply IZABION for rapid and good rooting of plants. To overcome all kinds of stresses: consequences of frost (down to -4°C), hail and effects of herbicides, it is necessary to apply IZABION no later than 48 hours after the occurrence of adverse phenomena.
IZABION is compatible with all micro- and macro-fertilizers and main plant protection products, however, in each specific case, mixed products should be checked for compatibility. IZABION is not compatible with mineral oils and copper-based products. IZABION can be applied 4 days after treatment with copper. When applying copper after the agrochemical IZABION, a 3-day interval is required. It is not recommended to apply IZABION in tank mixtures with herbicides based on cloquarid — possible reduction in herbicide efficacy.
During registration trials, positive results were obtained for the application of the fertilizer IZABION on various crops, in different regions of Russia, including the Krasnodar region. IZABION was tested on tomato variety "Dar Zavolzhya" as both root and foliar feed. For foliar feeding, IZABION was applied twice during the season (1st application — immediately after transplanting seedlings, 2nd — before flowering) and four times (1st application — immediately after transplanting seedlings, 2nd — before flowering, 3rd — at the beginning of fruit formation, 4th — when fruit color changes). Two application rates were tested — 1.0 and 2.0 L/ha. Root feeding was performed with irrigation water in the same growth stages of the crop, with application rates of 2.0 and 5.0 L/ha. Under favorable weather and climatic conditions, IZABION contributed to better fruit set (Table 1) and increased tomato fruit weight in all tested variants. The highest increase, both in fruit number and weight, was observed in the variant with four applications of the fertilizer IZABION with irrigation water at a dosage of 2.0 L/ha. Slightly less increase was observed with four applications of IZABION via spraying at a dosage of 1.0 L/ha.
