Tulip Hibernia

Strategic Choice for Reliable Greenhouse Production

Hibernia is a standout Triumph tulip variety designed for high-performance greenhouse forcing and professional landscaping. For growers, Hibernia represents a balance between high-quality aesthetics and the agronomic robustness required for efficient production cycles.

Enhanced Phytosanitary Profile

The core advantage of Hibernia is its superior resistance profile. By exhibiting natural tolerance to Fusarium and Verticillium wilts, it minimizes crop losses during the critical growth phases. Its immunity to Cladosporium and Tomato Mosaic Virus ensures that the plant retains its vigor and foliage quality, which is essential for uniform bulb development and high-grade bloom production.

Operational Scenarios and Utilization

• Greenhouse Forcing: With its tall, sturdy stem and precise mid-season blooming window, Hibernia fits perfectly into the commercial supply chain. It handles forced conditions well, allowing for reliable harvesting schedules.
• Quality Control: The crisp, white color of the petals is highly sought after for floral arrangements. The variety's structural integrity allows for long-distance transport without compromising the freshness of the blooms.
• Sustainable Cultivation: Due to its natural disease resistance, the frequency of fungicide applications can be reduced, significantly lowering input costs and aligning with sustainable farming practices.

Hibernia responds exceptionally well to standard cooling protocols. Its ability to maintain stem height and flower shape under variable greenhouse environments makes it a reliable asset for agricultural enterprises focused on minimizing waste and maximizing turnover in the floriculture market.
