Tomato X 1301

Tomato X 1301 is an early determinate hybrid developed by Heinz Seed and Spark Seeds for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions. The plant features a compact, strong, and low-growing bush with a well-developed root system and sturdy stem capable of bearing fruit load without staking. The vegetative period is approximately 65-95 days from emergence to first harvest, enabling early harvest with minimal care. The bush effectively protects fruit from sunburn and is resistant to drought, heat, and sharp temperature fluctuations. Tomato X 1301 fruits are oval or plum-shaped, bright red in color, with an average weight of 50-100 grams, most commonly 60-70 grams. They exhibit high flesh density and a firm skin that does not crack during ripening, ensuring excellent transportability and preservation during mechanized harvesting. The fruits have a rich, balanced flavor with a pleasant acidity, making them suitable for both fresh market use and processing, including salads and tomato preparations. Sugar content (Brix) ranges from 4.8-5.1%, further highlighting the high quality of the fruits. The hybrid shows enhanced resistance to several diseases, including verticillium wilt, fusarium (races 1 and 2), alternaria, leaf spot, bacterial spot, root rot, and tobacco mosaic virus. Additionally, the tomato demonstrates resistance to stress conditions such as drought and temperature fluctuations. These characteristics make X 1301 a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
