Tomato VP-1 F1 is an early, pink-fruited hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Hazera. This tall and compact indeterminate variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments, including heated greenhouses and plastic-covered structures. The hybrid demonstrates excellent resistance to adverse conditions, ensuring active fruit set and prolonged storage in field conditions. Moreover, VP-1 F1 thrives even on heavy soils, expanding its cultivation potential.

Tomato VP-1 F1 fruits ripen 65-68 days after transplanting and are characterized by a rich pink color, proper round shape, and absence of green spot at the stem attachment. The juicy and succulent flesh of the fruits has a pleasant flavor and aroma, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for juice production. The weight of fruits on the first truss can reach 400 grams, while the average fruit weight is 250-280 grams. Due to their high transportability, these tomatoes maintain quality during long-distance transportation.

To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to maintain an optimal planting density — no more than 2.5-2.8 plants per square meter. Support for vegetative mass is mandatory, especially when grown in open ground.
