Tomato Pink Angel

Strategic choice for early market access

For professional greenhouses, the indeterminate tomato hybrid 'Pink Angel' by Agrooptima serves as a high-performance solution for early production. With a maturation period of up to 90 days, this variety enables growers to capture the market during the peak pricing season, ensuring maximum return on investment.

Disease resistance as an operational benefit

The primary advantage of the Pink Angel variety is its robust genetic profile, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. It exhibits strong resistance against critical greenhouse pathogens:

• Fusarium and Verticillium wilt;
• Cladosporium (leaf mold);
• Tomato Mosaic Virus.

By minimizing the risk of infection, the plant directs its full biological potential towards fruit development, ensuring consistent yields even under intense conditions.

Handling and logistics efficiency

Unlike standard pink tomato varieties that often suffer from bruising during transit, Pink Angel is engineered for endurance. Producing fruits weighing over 200 grams, the hybrid maintains excellent firmness, making it highly suitable for long-distance shipping and retail distribution. Its flat-round shape offers high market appeal, meeting the standards of modern grocery chains.

In field applications, this hybrid responds well to intensive fertilization, particularly potassium-based regimes that enhance fruit size and color uniformity. Its structural integrity ensures that harvest losses due to cracking or color defects are kept to a minimum, directly contributing to the farm's profitability per hectare.
