Tomato SXD 142

French Genetics for Industrial Tomato Production

The SHD 142 tomato by Clause is designed for large-scale operations where harvest logistics and fruit consistency are paramount. This determinate hybrid is engineered specifically for open-field cultivation, focusing on physiological resilience and high-quality yield output.

Structural Performance and Fruit Geometry

The technical edge of the SHD 142 lies in its fruit architecture. The shape, ranging from round to cuboid, is a result of selective breeding aimed at maximizing cell wall density. Weighing 80-100 grams, the fruits are built to endure long-distance transit without bruising. For the grower, this means significantly lower waste rates and better marketability upon delivery.

Biological Protection and Efficiency

• Built-in Immunity: Genetic resistance to Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt significantly lowers the need for intensive fungicide applications, reducing input costs and chemical pressure on the crops.
• Growth Dynamics: A maturity cycle of 100-120 days ensures predictable harvest windows. The plant exhibits a balanced vegetative structure, which provides sufficient canopy cover to protect the fruit clusters from sunscald.

SHD 142 by Clause represents a perfect balance of French agricultural science and practical requirements, offering producers a reliable, uniform, and high-density tomato suitable for professional logistics.
