Tomato RYS is a medium-early determinate hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under film coverings. The plant features light-green, medium-length leaves and simple inflorescences. The peduncle has a joint, facilitating harvest. Fruits are flat-round or flat, smooth, and firm, weighing 236–320 grams. Immature fruits are green, while ripe ones turn bright red. The number of locules in the fruit exceeds six, indicating high commercial value and uniformity. The flesh of tomato RYS is beefsteak-type, juicy and sweet-tasting, with a dense skin, making the fruits attractive for fresh consumption and processing. The hybrid has a balanced flavor and high yield, reaching 21.5 kg per square meter. Due to its resistance to sunscald, verticillium wilt, and fusarium, the tomato is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, allowing cultivation across the entire region. Tomato RYS is suitable for various uses: fresh consumption, processing into tomato paste, and whole-fruit canning. Early maturity — around 65 days — allows for rapid harvest. The recommended planting density is 28–33 thousand plants per hectare, promoting maximum productivity. This hybrid, developed by Mikhail Lvovich Grishin, combines high commercial value, excellent taste, and disease resistance, making it a profitable choice for gardeners and farmers.
