Tomato Mriya

Ukrainian Selection: Stability and Research Excellence

The 'Mriya' tomato stands as a testament to the high-level collaborative work of Ukraine's primary agricultural research institutions, including the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing and the National Research Center 'Institute of Agriculture of the NAAS'. Developed by a team of renowned experts, this variety embodies the marriage of academic rigour and field-tested adaptability, specifically tailored for the diverse Ukrainian growing environments.

Agronomic Profile and Versatility

One of the most compelling aspects of the 'Mriya' variety is its morphological flexibility. Depending on the chosen agrotechnical approach and pruning strategy, the plant can demonstrate either determinate or indeterminate characteristics. This versatility makes it a highly valuable asset for commercial producers who need to balance crop management with fluctuating seasonal conditions. As an early-maturing variety with a 90–100 day cycle, it excels at providing high-quality yields early in the market season.

• Fruit Specifications: The variety produces uniform, flat-round fruits, which are highly prized for their presentation and quality. With an average weight between 150g and 200g (and often exceeding 200g), it is perfectly suited for both the fresh market and culinary processing.
• Color Variations: Available in both red and orange, 'Mriya' allows growers to effectively differentiate their produce to meet varied consumer preferences.

The variety is legally protected and overseen by the National Research Center 'Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine', ensuring strict quality control and consistency of the seed material. For those seeking reliability backed by decades of institutional expertise, 'Mriya' offers a predictable and profitable solution for sustainable tomato production.
