F1 Lubava — indeterminate, large-fruited hybrid with medium ripening period. From emergence of full seedlings to beginning of ripening 115-118 days. Plants over 2 meters tall (not restricting growth). Medium-sized leaves, dark green. First flower cluster forms above the 9th-10th leaf; subsequent clusters are spaced every 3 leaves. Inflorescence is simple, short or medium length, with 4-6 fruits. Fruits weighing 110-130 g, round, firm, fleshy, 4-6 chambered. Immature fruits are light green with a dark green spot at the point of attachment of the calyx; upon ripening, fruits turn to a uniform bright red color.
ADVANTAGES OF THE HYBRID: high yield (4.5-5 kg per plant), attractive large fruits with high commercial quality. Intended for cultivation in spring-heated and unheated greenhouses in spring-summer rotation. Planting density 2.5-3 plants/m2. Requires formation into a single stem, support tying, and timely suckering. The hybrid shows high response to mineral fertilization during fruit set. Recommended for farm operations.
