Tomato Manami is a tall indeterminate hybrid with early ripening, developed by Kitano Seeds from the Netherlands. Plants can reach up to 1.8 meters in height, possess a strong root system and short internodes, which contribute to their resilience and high yield. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses during spring-summer and summer-autumn periods, as well as for seedling cultivation. It is not demanding in terms of soil quality and watering regime, resistant to sudden temperature fluctuations and various diseases, including vascular wilt, tomato mosaic virus, and other common tomato diseases. Tomato Manami fruits are large, round, weighing approximately 180-200 grams, with a distinct aroma and high sugar content, ensuring excellent taste. They are resistant to cracking, easily transportable, and suitable for both fresh sale and processing into juice. Plants form well-structured clusters with uniformly colored, firm fruits, making the variety convenient for cultivation and harvesting. Ripening period ranges from 65 to 110 days depending on growing conditions and specific hybrid variety. For successful cultivation of Tomato Manami, use well-lit areas with fertile, neutral pH soil. Seeds are sown for seedlings at the end of February, and two-month-old seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses or covered ground. Regular watering with warm water, weeding, loosening, feeding, and staking plants to supports are required during cultivation. Due to its stress resistance, high yield, and disease resistance, Tomato Manami is an excellent choice for both hobby and commercial cultivation.
