Malvina

Malvina is an early-maturing indeterminate tomato plant, reaching a height of 1.5 to 1.8 meters depending on growing conditions. The plant requires staking and pinching, with optimal growth being two-stem formation. Leaves are medium-sized, green, of normal type, and inflorescences are simple, with each forming a cluster of 12-15 fruits.

The Malvina tomato fruits are round, smooth, firm, and juicy, with a raspberry color and weight of 15 to 25 grams. They feature a sweet taste and dense flesh with a smooth skin. Due to their flavor and versatility, these tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and preservation, including whole-fruit processing.

The variety is characterized by early maturity — 85 to 100 days from germination — and yields up to 4.2 kg per square meter when proper agronomy is followed. Malvina is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and stressful growing conditions, but it is susceptible to late blight and fungal diseases. It is recommended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic greenhouses, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.
