Tomato LOVE

Technical Specifications and Agronomic Profile

The «Lubov» tomato is a determinate variety developed by Yuri Ivanovich Panchev, engineered for intensive cultivation environments. The core of this hybrid’s design focuses on a precise balance between early maturity (within 90 days) and high-density produce output. The determinate growth habit ensures high-density planting efficiency, maximizing yield per hectare.

Yield and Fruit Morphological Data

The variety is specifically bred for large-fruit production, with individual tomatoes exceeding 200 grams in weight. The fruit morphology includes both round and oblate (flat-round) shapes. With a yield potential ranging from 70 to 100 tons per hectare, it stands as a high-performance choice for commercial operations.

Operational Advantages and Resistance

• Nematode Resistance: The genetic architecture of the variety includes built-in resistance to nematodes, significantly reducing reliance on soil fumigants and chemical protection programs, which decreases overall production costs.
• Logistics and Durability: Despite the substantial weight of the fruit, the structural integrity of the tissues is high, ensuring excellent transportability. This reduces post-harvest losses and maintains market quality during distribution.
• Versatile Color Spectrum: The selection provides red, pink, and yellow color variations, allowing for easy market diversification without the need to modify existing agrotechnical protocols.
