Tomato L404

Stability for professional greenhouses

The L404 indeterminate hybrid is designed for growers who prioritize predictability and efficiency in greenhouse environments. Developed through Russian breeding programs, this tomato variety offers the classic traits of professional-grade cultivars, where the plant's growth is constrained only by the height of the trellis.

Key Advantages

• Controlled Habit: The indeterminate growth pattern allows for maximum use of greenhouse space, ensuring ease of maintenance and harvesting throughout the extended growing season.
• Regional Adaptation: The seed material is specifically developed to withstand the climate challenges typical of the region, minimizing risks related to light and temperature fluctuations.
• Operational Efficiency: The plant exhibits a balanced vegetative growth, simplifying pruning and nutrient management protocols.

Who is this hybrid for?

L404 is an excellent choice for farm enterprises and large-scale greenhouse operators needing a reliable, «workhorse» hybrid. It requires standard agronomic practices: consistent pruning, trellising, and scheduled fertilization. A potential challenge lies in the need for strict temperature control, as indeterminate varieties can sometimes drop blossoms under extreme stress. However, its natural resilience to common indoor pathogens makes it a robust solution for those seeking professional performance without the unpredictability associated with sensitive exotic imports.
