F1 April is grown at the Vegetable Experimental Station named after V.I. Edelstein of the Russian State Agrarian University. It was released in 1977. The hybrid was developed by employees of LLC "Seed Selection and Seed Production Company 'Manul'. A popular parthenocarpic hybrid with female or predominantly female flowering, suitable for spring greenhouses and tunnels. Characterized by a prolonged fruiting period, uniform yield, and relatively good cold resistance. Begins fruiting on the 40-45th day after emergence. Moderate branching. Cucumbers are bumpy, white-tipped, 13-22 cm long, weighing 160-300 g, with high taste quality. The hairs are complex and sparse. The hybrid is resistant to olive spot disease, ordinary cucumber mosaic virus, and tolerant to root rots.
