Tomato HM 9903

French Breeding for the Professional Market: The XM 9903

In the market for pink tomatoes, the XM 9903 hybrid from Clause has established itself as a reliable choice for those seeking a balance between exceptional flavor and commercial viability. This indeterminate tomato is the result of years of breeding expertise from France, engineered to deliver heavy, high-quality yields over long growing cycles.

In modern vegetable production, where logistics requirements are constantly increasing, the XM 9903 stands out for its structural integrity. With a fruit weight consistently exceeding 200 grams, it maintains a density rarely found in many 'sugary' pink varieties. This allows for long-distance transportation without sacrificing shelf appeal.

Agronomic Performance and Yield Potential

• Ripening cycle: The hybrid falls into the mid-to-late group (120–130 days), which fosters the development of a robust foliage system and a deep root structure.
• Fruit morphology: Its heart-shaped profile combined with a vibrant pink color makes this hybrid a favorite in the fresh produce market, where the appearance of a 'homegrown' tomato is essential.
• Storage: A key feature is its ability to maintain quality for over 30 days post-harvest, providing growers with the flexibility needed for optimal market timing.

Choosing the XM 9903 is an investment in the premium segment. The plant requires standard agronomic practices for indeterminate types while delivering the predictable, high-value results that both large-scale greenhouse operations and professional growers demand.
