Tomato Hilandar F1 is an early indeterminate hybrid of LSL type, characterized by a strong plant with medium internodes. From seedlings to full ripening, it takes 90–95 days. The first truss with 4–6 fruits forms above the 9th–11th leaf, ensuring stable and uniform fruiting. The plant is recommended for cultivation in all types of greenhouses with optimal planting density of 2.5 plants per square meter, which allows achieving high yields exceeding 35 kg per square meter.
The fruits of tomato Hilandar are round, firm, deep red in color with a glossy surface. Each fruit weighs 170–190 grams. They have excellent taste, juicy, sweet, and aromatic, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for making juices, sauces, salads, and pickling. The fruits are resistant to cracking, have good transportability, and maintain their market quality during storage for up to 30 days.
A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its high resistance to a range of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), tomato brown spot virus (TSWV), tomato leaf curl virus (TYLCV), as well as Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, and gall nematodes. These characteristics make tomato Hilandar a reliable choice for greenhouse cultivation, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield. The hybrid belongs to the new generation of tomatoes, offering modern standards of quality and productivity.
