Tomato Kukla

Consistent Yields for Commercial Production

The «Kukla» tomato variety from the breeder «Sedek» is a reliable determinate cultivar chosen by agronomists to secure early-season market presence. With a growth cycle of 90–100 days, this variety fits perfectly into intensive crop rotation schedules, allowing producers to maximize land efficiency and capture peak market prices.

Agrotechnical Efficiency and Disease Resistance

The primary advantage of «Kukla» is its predictability. As a determinate plant, it requires minimal pruning and basic trellising, which significantly reduces operational labor costs. Its genetic resilience against major pathogens—including Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), Fusarium, and Cladosporium—reduces the dependency on heavy fungicide applications, making it a sustainable choice for high-quality vegetable production.

Marketability and Post-Harvest Quality

The fruits weigh over 200 grams and feature a dense structure, ensuring excellent shelf life and resistance to transit damage. The round to flat-round fruit shape, available in vibrant red or pink, is highly favored by retailers and fresh market buyers. With yield potentials exceeding 190 tons per hectare, «Kukla» represents a high-margin opportunity for both small-scale growers and larger industrial farms.
