Tomato Bravo

Tomato Bravo is a medium-late indeterminate hybrid with a period from germination to fruiting of 116-120 days. It is recommended for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses. Plants reach a height of about 2 meters and require training to a single stem with mandatory removal of suckers and lower leaves, as well as pinching the growth point at the end of vegetation. Successful cultivation requires plant support and application of increased fertilizer doses. Sowing for seedlings is conducted at the end of February – beginning of March, with transplanting in the first true leaf stage, and transplanting into greenhouses at 50-55 days old. Tomato Bravo fruits are large, round, smooth, weighing up to 300 grams, predominantly for salad use. They have dense flesh and bright red color, making them attractive for fresh consumption. The hybrid has high yield — up to 4.5 to 5 kg of tomatoes per plant. Additionally, the variety is resistant to diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, ensuring stable yield and reducing the need for frequent protective treatments. Cultivation of tomato Bravo requires certain agronomic practices, including proper planting scheme of 40x60 cm and additional supplemental lighting during seedling growth. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, this variety deserves attention for both home and commercial greenhouse cultivation.
