Maidan

Tomato 'Maidan F1' is a high-yielding indeterminate hybrid intended for cultivation during the winter-spring period and extended rotations, including low-volume crops. Plants are tall, reaching over 2 meters in height, with a vegetative growth type and short internodes, allowing efficient use of greenhouse volume and reducing the need for frequent pinching. Plant formation is recommended to be single-stemmed with removal of all suckers, promoting better development and fruiting. The first flower bud forms above the 9th-10th leaf, and subsequent ones appear every three leaves, with simple, straight inflorescences.

Tomato 'Maidan' fruits are round or flat-round in shape, bright red with a glossy surface. Average fruit weight varies from 103 to 180 grams depending on growing conditions, and they possess high flavor quality. The hybrid exhibits early maturity — from germination to fruiting, it takes 101-107 days. Yield per plant reaches 4-4.5 kg, making this tomato attractive for commercial cultivation.

The hybrid is resistant to major tomato diseases, such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, ensuring stable yields and reducing costs for plant protection. It is recommended to grow in unheated and heated plastic greenhouses, with seedlings planted in early to mid-March and transplanted into greenhouses at the end of April to early May. Planting scheme is 40x60 cm, which is optimal for providing plants with necessary space and light.
