Boxer

The Boxer tomato variety is a mid-season, high-yielding type with elongated fruits that have a characteristic small tip. The fruits are distinguished by their bright coloring: a red background adorned with yellow and green stripes and zigzags that darken as they ripen. They are firm, low-pithy, and resistant to cracking, making them especially suitable for canning and tomato paste preparation. Each fruit weighs between 60 to 120 grams, and plant height reaches 50–70 cm, facilitating care and harvest.

This variety was developed by Tom Wagner through crossing the Green Sleeves variety with the dwarf Roma variety, resulting in high yield and disease resistance. Due to its qualities, Boxer tomatoes are suitable for both home cultivation and open-field growing. They are valued for their good taste and decorative appearance, which can become a highlight of any garden.
