SY NEXUS CLP

SY NEXUS CLP — an intensive linoleic sunflower hybrid developed for achieving high yield and oil content. Thanks to modern genetics, this hybrid holds leading positions in its segment and performs best on fertile soils with high agronomic practices. It is adapted for the Clearfield Plus production system, providing effective weed protection and increased resilience to adverse conditions.

The hybrid exhibits high drought and disease resistance, including fungal diseases such as Phomopsis, sclerotinia, and downy mildew races A–E. Moreover, SY NEXUS CLP shows high heat and drought tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones such as Northern Steppe, Forest-Steppe, Polесье, and Southern-Eastern Steppe. Its maturity period is medium-early — from 105 to 115 days, plant height reaches 140–160 cm.

The hybrid’s yield potential reaches up to 5 tons per hectare at the recommended planting density of 50–65 thousand plants per hectare. Oil content is at the level of 49–51%, ensuring high oil yield. The hybrid demonstrates flexibility regarding planting timing and resistance to lodging, simplifying agronomic practices and enhancing crop quality. Treatment of seeds with Cruiser (Thiamethoxam 350 g/L) provides protection against pests and improves germination.
