Genetic Potential and Adaptability

RAGT's RGT Bellus is a French-bred hybrid tailored for farms operating under intensive cultivation and tight crop rotation schedules. The fundamental advantage of this hybrid lies in its short vegetation cycle (80–100 days), making it an ideal «insurance» option for late planting or regions prone to early autumn frosts. With a plant height of 90–100 cm, the hybrid displays excellent uniformity, which is critical for even ripening and minimizing harvest losses.

Biological «Shield» and Resistance

RAGT breeders have focused on comprehensive immunity. Technically, the resistance is achieved through intensive selection against pathogens that traditionally threaten yields under stress conditions. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to:

• Peronospora and maize downy mildew — minimizing the risk of lodging and seedling failure.
• Phomopsis and Phoma — a crucial factor in maintaining leaf photosynthetic surface area until the seed-filling stage.
• Rust and White rot — major destroyers of heads and stems.
