Sunflower PR63G40

Hybrid sunflower PR63G40, developed under the Pioneer brand, belongs to the early-maturing group and is intended for oilseed cultivation. This hybrid is characterized by high oil content and linoleic sunflower type. Plants have below-average height, which contributes to increased lodging resistance, exceeding the average level.

PR63G40 has excellent drought tolerance and tolerance to the pathogen *Phytophthora* spp. A-E, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The hybrid also features high self-pollination, ensuring stable yield formation. Recommended planting density at harvest time is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture and 55-60 thousand in areas with insufficient moisture.

Optimal cultivation zones for hybrid PR63G40 include the Polесье, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow guidelines for uniform planting density, avoiding overcrowding. High resistance to stem and head sclerotinia additionally enhances the reliability and quality of this hybrid's yield.
