NA 102 A

Sunflower NA 102 A is a mid-season hybrid of Serbian selection, intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 116-120 days and an average plant height of 160-170 cm. Plants have a semi-upright flower arrangement and high resistance to lodging, which contributes to maintaining yield under adverse weather conditions. The hybrid is suitable for Clearfield systems, allowing effective use of imidazole-group herbicides, providing reliable weed control.

NA 102 A exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, phomosis, downy mildew, sclerotinia, and powdery mildew. However, its resistance to downy mildew (downy mildew) is low. Thanks to these characteristics, the hybrid demonstrates stable yield, reaching up to 5.5 tons per hectare, or 50-60 centners per hectare depending on cultivation conditions and agronomy. Oil content in seeds is 50-51%, making it attractive for oilseed production.

Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 40-45 thousand plants per hectare in drier conditions. The hybrid is adaptable to various cultivation conditions and exhibits good drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation in different agroecological zones with varying moisture levels. Using the NA 102 A hybrid helps achieve a stable and high sunflower yield when recommended agronomic practices are followed.
