RGT Amillton sunflower is an early-maturing hybrid, ideally suited for cultivation in the Forest Steppe and Steppe zones. It exhibits high drought and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. The plants have medium height, promoting efficient sunlight absorption and uniform ripening. The hybrid is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 54 to 56% — making it profitable for oilseed production.

One of the key features of RGT Amillton is its tolerance to ragweed (Ambrosia) species A-G, enabling cultivation on fields heavily infested with this weed. Additionally, the hybrid shows high resistance to major sunflower diseases, such as Phomopsis, Phomopsis, false powdery mildew, rust, and basket sclerotinia, significantly reducing yield loss risks and minimizing the need for intensive chemical protection.

The recommended planting density varies depending on the cultivation zone: from 40 to 50 thousand plants per hectare in dry areas, to 50-58 thousand in well-watered regions. Due to its adaptability and resilience to adverse conditions, RGT Amillton is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields under various agroclimatic conditions.
