BT 04

BT 04 is a medium-maturing sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) hybrid, intended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Chernozem and Lower Volga areas. The growing period of the hybrid ranges from 109 to 117 days depending on the region, allowing for effective planning of sowing campaigns. Average yield reaches 31.6 c/ha in the Central Chernozem region and 18.3 c/ha in the Lower Volga, indicating high productivity of the variety. The 1000-seed mass varies from 48.0 to 53.4 grams, and oil content in seeds is within 47.7–52.5%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production.

To increase yield and protect crops, modern agronomic technologies such as Sulfo-technology are recommended, which ensures effective herbicide application and promotes plant resilience even under adverse conditions. This allows optimizing costs and improving crop quality.

To protect BT 04 sunflower from fungal diseases, a combined contact-systemic fungicide with prophylactic and curative action is used. The preparation contains cymoxanil and metalaxyl, effectively combating false powdery mildew, gray and white rots, fusarium, and alternaria. It rapidly penetrates the plant, prevents resistance development, and protects young growth. The fungicide is recommended for application during vegetation at temperatures from +15 °C to +25 °C with a dosage of 0.4–0.6 kg/ha, ensuring reliable protection and promoting stable crop development.
