To protect against broadleaf weeds, it is recommended to use the herbicide Marquis BT with the active ingredient tribenuron-methyl, which effectively combats undesirable vegetation in sunflower crops. The preparation is available in water-soluble granules and is characterized by high ecological safety, does not wash away with rain, and is compatible with other plant protection products.
For full nutrition and improved growth of sunflower, an organo-mineral fertilizer specially developed according to the needs of this crop is applied. It contains a complex of micro- and macroelements, including zinc, boron, copper, iron, manganese, as well as free amino acids, vitamins, and peptides. Such a fertilizer helps normalize metabolic processes, improves plant respiration, enhances resistance to fungal diseases, improves flowering and fruit set, strengthens the root system, and increases frost resistance.
To protect against fungal diseases of sunflower, a combined fungicide with active ingredients cyomoxanil and metalaxyl is used. It is effective against false powdery mildew, gray and white rots, fusarium, and alternaria, providing both preventive and curative effects. The preparation quickly penetrates the plant, prevents the development of resistance, and protects young shoots. It is recommended to apply the fungicide at temperatures from +15 to +25 °C and in light wind, carefully preparing equipment before application.
