Sunflower SG 64

The vegetative period is 111-115 days, with a yield potential reaching 45 c/ha at about 49% oil content. The plants are low-growing, which contributes to their lodging resistance, and they exhibit good resistance to common diseases such as sclerotinia, phoma, and white rot. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to drought and rhizoctonia, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine. High resistance to 7 races of Helminthosporium (A-G) and good disease resistance indicators ensure yield stability even under unfavorable weather conditions. The recommended plant density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, which optimizes area utilization and contributes to maximum productivity. The hybrid is suitable for classical cultivation technology and is tolerant to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, which facilitates weed control and reduces agrotechnology costs.
