Sunflower 15048

Hybrid sunflower 15048 is a medium-maturing, high-yielding linoleic-type variety intended for cultivation using conventional technology. It is characterized by high oil content and high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, ensuring crop preservation and harvesting convenience. The flower head diameter ranges from 17 to 21 cm, and rapid water release promotes timely seed drying at maturity.

The hybrid is resistant to a broad spectrum of diseases, including downy mildew types A-F/G, fusarium, fusariosis, gray and white rot, as well as false powdery mildew. Moderate drought tolerance allows successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. Yield potential reaches 6 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for farmers.

Recommended planting density varies by region: for the Steppe zone, the optimal density is 45-50 thousand plants per hectare, while for the Forest Steppe and Polissia zones, it is 55-65 thousand plants per hectare. This approach ensures maximum productivity and quality of the harvest.
