Sunflower NS Fantazija is a high-yielding hybrid developed in Serbia and registered in Ukraine in 2015. It is intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones and is characterized by high resistance to major diseases such as rust, sunflower moth, stem rot, and phomopsis. The plant exhibits vigorous growth, reaches a height of 170-180 cm, and its full maturation period is 112-117 days. Thanks to its high leafiness during the bud formation phase, the leaves fully cover the soil, contributing to better protection and development of the crop.
The NS Fantazija hybrid is characterized by high oil content in seeds, reaching 48-51%, making it particularly attractive for oil production. Potential yield exceeds 45 centners/ha, while the plant demonstrates drought, lodging, and seed shattering resistance. Genetic resistance to five rust races, as well as to all races of powdery mildew and stem rot, ensures reliable crop protection under adverse weather and phytosanitary conditions.
To achieve maximum productivity of sunflower NS Fantazija, proper care including pest and weed control is required. The hybrid responds well to most pesticides and herbicides, including soil-applied herbicides, which simplifies crop protection. Due to its combination of high yield, disease resistance, stress tolerance, and high oil content, NS Fantazija is a reliable choice for farmers focused on oilseed sunflower production.
