Lubash

The hybrid sunflower Lubash-N, developed in France, is a simple modified interlinear hybrid of medium-early maturity group, adapted for cultivation throughout Ukraine. It exhibits high plasticity to sowing dates, allowing it to be sown both in optimal and later periods. The plant is medium-height, reaching 160-180 cm, with a flower head diameter of 20-25 cm and a 1000-seed mass of about 65 g.

Lubash-N has high drought resistance and tolerance to the herbicide Granstar (tribenuron-methyl), enabling single application of herbicide at a rate of 30 g/ha for effective control of a wide spectrum of weeds. The hybrid demonstrates high growth energy in early development stages and belongs to the moderately-intensive type, which contributes to stable yield formation.

The hybrid exhibits high immunity to powdery mildew (both true and false) and resistance to common races of rust (A-E). The potential yield is 45-48 ц/ha, and oil content in seeds reaches 50-52%, making Lubash-N a profitable choice for sunflower oil production and stable yields under various climatic conditions.
