Lime

Sunflower Lime — an early-maturing hybrid developed for conventional cultivation techniques and adapted to various climatic conditions in Ukraine. It features a short vegetation period of about 100 days and plant height ranging from 150 to 160 cm. The flower head is slightly convex with a diameter of 20–23 cm, promoting effective seed formation. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones, ensuring stable and high yields even under extensive farming practices. Lime stands out for its high productivity with potential yields up to 5.8 t/ha and high oil content in seeds — 50–52%. It exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusariosis, rust, false powdery mildew, gray and white rot, as well as sunflower downy mildew (A-G+), significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance and resilience to stress factors such as lodging and shattering, making it a reliable choice for various cultivation conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 60–65 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, down to 35–40 thousand under insufficient moisture. This adaptability allows efficient use of the hybrid across different agroclimatic zones and cultivation technologies. Thanks to its combination of high productivity, disease and stress resistance, and superior oil characteristics, Sunflower Lime is an optimal choice for farmers seeking stable and high yields.
