Eldorado

Eldorado soybean is a mid-early and high-yielding variety with high yield potential, recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesie, Forest-Steppe, Steppe, as well as Western and Eastern Siberian regions. Plants reach a height of 80 to 130 cm, have an indeterminate growth type, and are characterized by semi-high growth. The vegetative period ranges from 112 to 125 days, allowing the variety to successfully adapt to various growing conditions. Leaves are large and dark green, flowers are purple, and stems and pods have a reddish-brown coloration. Seeds are medium-sized, elongated-oval in shape, yellow in color with a large brown hilum.

Eldorado soybean is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and cracking, which contributes to maintaining yield and improving seed quality. The variety exhibits good resistance to major diseases such as ascochytosis, downy mildew, and septoria, making it a reliable choice for farmers. The 1000-seed mass varies from 90.8 to 137.1 g, indicating large seed size and high seed material quality.

In terms of nutritional content, the variety is characterized by a high protein level — up to 36.7%, and oil content — up to 22%, making it valuable for use in food industry and feed production. Yield varies depending on growing conditions and can reach 3.8 t/ha, with average yields across various regions ranging from 19.3 to 36.1 c/ha. Due to its high agronomic and technological characteristics, Eldorado soybean is a promising variety for intensive and semi-industrial agriculture.
