Mid-late maturing variety, obtained at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection from a cross between forms (27-3-63 x Sunderbyn II) and the variety Orlovskiy Vals. Breeders: T.P. Ogoltsova, S.D. Knyazev. Under state variety testing since 2001.
Medium-height, slightly spreading bush with medium density. Growing shoots are light green, thick, straight, weakly pigmented with anthocyanins, glossy. Woody shoots are thick, gray, glossy. Buds are large, round, alternate, blunt apex, pigmented with anthocyanins, naked, deviated from the shoot, solitary, leaf scar shape is round.
Leaf is five-lobed, large with weak gloss, wrinkled, leathery, convex. Central lobe is wide, with sharp apex, longer than lateral ones, with distinct additional lobes. Lateral lobes are short, sharply pointed, apexes directed sideways, upper edges lie on the same straight line, perpendicular to the central lobe, lower edges are cut toward the base, the notch between the central and lateral lobes is small. Angle between veins of lateral lobes is obtuse. Basal lobes are moderately expressed, their veins are spread out. Base of leaf has shallow, open notch. Teeth are large with blunt "tips", petioles of medium length and thickness, pigmented, naked.
Flowers are medium-sized with pale calyx lobes. Inflorescence is medium-length, dense, hairy, pedicel is medium, brown-green, hairy.
Berries are large (2.0 g), round, single-sided, black, glossy, with dry detachment, medium seed count. Skin is medium-thick, calyx is medium, non-deciduous, closed, pedicel is medium thickness and length. Flavor is sour-sweet (4.3 points), stimulating. Berries are of universal use. Chemical composition: soluble dry substances — 12.0%, sugar sum — 8.4%, titratable acidity — 3.1%, ascorbic acid — 153.1 mg/100 g, anthocyanins — 121.4 mg/100 g, leucoanthocyanins — 296.4 mg/100 g, catechins — 160.2 mg/100 g, sum of P-active substances — 578.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile (77%), resistant to powdery mildew, moderately affected by anthracnose, septoria, bud mite, suitable for mechanized harvest, average yield 9.6 t/ha (1.4 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: resistance to powdery mildew, large single-sided berries, technological suitability.
Disadvantages of the variety: affected by bud mite.
