Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the VIR branch "Polar Experimental Station" from crossing the varieties Imandra and Hietala. Authors: S.D. Elsakova, T.V. Romanova. Included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the Northern Region in 2007.
Medium-height, compact bush. Growing shoots are straight, slightly hairy, weakly pigmented with anthocyanin. Buds are large, weakly pigmented with anthocyanin and hairy.
Leaves are medium to large, green, matte, leathery, slightly wrinkled, medium density. Leaf blades are pointed, the central blade is broad, the angle between the central veins of the side blades is straight. Basal lobes are clearly defined. Leaf base is heart-shaped with a medium notch. Teeth are large and blunt. Petiole is long, thin or closer to medium, hairless, with weak anthocyanin pigmentation.
Flowers are large, pink, sepals with medium anthocyanin pigmentation, ovary is large. Inflorescence is short, medium density, hanging, axis is thin.
Berries are very large (1.4-1.8 g), round, one-dimensional, black, shiny, dessert flavor (5 points). Receptacle is medium, round, closed. Chemical composition: total sugars — 7.2%, organic acids — 3.8%, ascorbic acid — 121.3 mg/100 g.
Highly winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile, average yield 11.8 t/ha (3.6 kg/plant), resistant to powdery mildew, anthracnose, and septoria.
Advantages of the variety: resistant to powdery mildew, very large berries, good taste qualities.
Disadvantages of the variety: uneven ripening of berries.
