Beet sugar variety SX1525 has high yield and sugar potential, making it attractive for cultivation with medium harvest timing. The plant forms a medium-sized leaf rosette with dark green, spreading leaves, and the root has an oval-conical shape, penetrating soil approximately 85%. This variety is resistant to drought, cold, various diseases, and bolting, and it exhibits good storability, facilitating harvest storage. Sugar beet is a warm-loving and heat-tolerant crop, with optimal growth temperature of 20-22°C; however, photosynthesis effectively occurs even at temperatures above 40°C. The plant is highly demanding of water, especially during the intensive root growth period in July-August. Due to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing water from depths of about 2.5 meters, sugar beet can withstand drought reasonably well. Water deficiency may lead to increased nitrogen content in the roots. Sugar beet is a biennial plant, forming a root with firm white flesh and a basal leaf rosette in the first year. The entire harvest is utilized without waste: sugar, molasses, syrup, and by-products are obtained. Molasses is used for producing alcohol, glycerin, citric acid, yeast, and organic acids. By-products serve as valuable fertilizer, while molasses is used as feed for farm animals. Additionally, sugar beet is used to produce ethanol, which serves as biofuel replacing diesel fuel.
