The winter barley variety SU Glacia is characterized by high yield and excellent resistance to powdery mildew, ensuring a stable and high yield even under stressful conditions. Due to its high resistance to diseases including fusarium, false powdery mildew, rhiophytophthora, brown rust, and snow mold, this variety is suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine. Additionally, SU Glacia has good resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps maintain grain quality.

SU Glacia has a medium maturity period and an average thousand-grain weight ranging from 31.6 to 36.6 grams. The recommended sowing period is from September 15 to October 30, with a rate of 200-250 seeds per square meter (65-75 kg/ha). The variety exhibits high winter hardiness and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Its regenerative capacity and protein content are at a medium or above-medium level, positively affecting the nutritional quality of the grain.

To achieve maximum productivity during the early growth stages, nitrogen fertilizers are recommended.
