Brasetto — this is an intensive winter wheat hybrid, intended for cultivation in various agroclimates, including southern regions of Ukraine. It features a medium-height type with exceptionally strong straw, ensuring high resistance to lodging and shattering. Thanks to its high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, Brasetto successfully adapts to challenging climatic conditions, contributing to stable and high yields reaching up to 102.9 c/ha.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major wheat diseases such as powdery mildew, root rots, and septoria, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses and improving grain quality. Brasetto grain is characterized by high baking properties, belonging to the first quality class, making it highly sought after in the food industry. Despite its low protein content, the hybrid demonstrates increased viscosity amylography and optimal gelatinization temperature, positively affecting the technological properties of flour.
To enhance growth and development, Brasetto seeds are treated with the growth regulator Vitazym and microelements Yara Rexolyn ABC, which help strengthen plants and improve their resistance to stress factors. Overall, Brasetto represents a modern and reliable winter wheat hybrid, combining high yield, disease resistance, and adaptability to adverse conditions, along with excellent grain technological characteristics.
