Sunder — a hybrid of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) with a medium vegetation period of about 93 days. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to sclerotinia and lodging, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses under adverse weather conditions. Rapeseed Sunder is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the West Siberian, Central, and Central Chernozem regions, as well as in Tomsk, Ivanovo, Tula, and Ryazan Oblasts.
The yield of the Sunder variety significantly exceeds standard levels: in the West Siberian region, it reaches 14.7 centners/ha, which is 3.6 centners/ha higher than the standard, in the Central region — 15.8 centners/ha, and in the Central Chernozem region — up to 19.5 centners/ha. Rapeseed seeds contain a high oil content — from 45.3 to 47.9 %, which ensures higher oil extraction and makes this variety attractive for the oilseed industry.
Rapeseed Sunder is widely used not only for oil production but also in the feed industry. Rapeseed meal serves as an important component of compound feeds and premixes in animal husbandry, and rapeseed seeds are used in fish feed mixtures, particularly for catching carp. Due to its adaptability to growing conditions and high agronomic characteristics, the Sunder variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yield products.
