Rapeseed FOCTD 719

Maximizing Yield through Clearfield Technology

Limagrain’s winter oilseed rape variety, FOTSD 719, is engineered for farmers who prioritize weed control as a cornerstone of their profitability. As a simple linear hybrid, it is fully compatible with Clearfield herbicide technology, allowing for targeted elimination of weeds without causing phytotoxicity to the crop. This ensures that the plant’s energy is dedicated solely to yield formation.

Agronomic Performance and Production

With a yield potential of 60-70 c/ha, FOTSD 719 is designed for high-input, intensive farming operations. Successful cultivation relies on consistent fertilization and precise sowing schedules to ensure rapid autumn development and strong winter hardiness. The hybrid consistently delivers an oil content of 45-50%, meeting the high-quality requirements of modern processing plants.

Key Features for Farm Management

• Hybrid Structure: Simple linear hybrid for consistent growth and harvest uniformity.
• Yield Capability: High genetic potential of 60-70 c/ha.
• Oil Content: High-performance 45-50% oil profile.
• Weed Management: Native compatibility with Clearfield herbicide systems.

FOTSD 719 is an excellent choice for fields with significant weed pressure where traditional control methods have proven inconsistent. By choosing this hybrid, producers can simplify their weed management strategies while maintaining a focus on maximizing gross yield and oil quality. Its strong initial growth vigor gives it a competitive edge, ensuring a solid stand before the winter dormancy period.
