Description Miranda
Miranda winter rapeseed seeds are a classic hybrid of new genetics developed for achieving ultra-high yields. This mid-early maturing variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, rapid early growth, and frost resistance, ensuring reliable vegetation recovery in spring. Plants reach a height of 150-170 cm, have mid-early flowering, and demonstrate high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, including the Polissia region, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. Recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: 350-450 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture, and 300-400 thousand/ha under unstable conditions.

The Miranda hybrid exhibits high genetic resistance to pod cracking and resistance to common rapeseed diseases such as cylindrical sporotrichosis, phomopsis, verticillium, and stem sclerotinia. Additionally, it shows resistance to lodging, good branching ability, and tolerance to late sowing. Seeds are treated with Cruiser OSR, providing additional protection against diseases and pests.

The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 60 centners per hectare. Oil content in seeds is 46-48%, and protein content is 35-37%, making this variety attractive for producing high-quality oil crops. Glucosinolate levels are within 16-21 mM/g, meeting safety and quality standards. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, Miranda rapeseed is a reliable choice for farmers aiming for stable and high yields.
