DK Sesar

The hybrid rapeseed DK Sesar is distinguished by high plasticity and adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, especially in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones. It is characterized by rapid germination and the formation of a strong leaf rosette before wintering, ensuring excellent winter hardiness and high drought resistance. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid demonstrates stable productivity even under stressful conditions, making it suitable for planting both in early and late sowing periods.

DK Sesar has a high yield potential, comparable to the best conventional hybrids, and can achieve yields up to 60 c/ha. It is distinguished by high lodging resistance, allowing it to withstand dense plantings, as well as resistance to pod cracking, which reduces yield losses during maturation. In addition, the hybrid is characterized by high oil content, enhancing its economic value.

Special attention has been given to the resistance of DK Sesar to common diseases such as phomopsis, alternaria, and sclerotinia. Intensive autumn development contributes to good winter survival and the formation of a strong leaf rosette. The recommended planting density is 35-45 plants per square meter, and the optimal soil temperature for sowing is 8-12 °C, ensuring uniform germination and successful plant development.
