Rapeseed DK Expower

Monsanto’s Genetic Strategy in DK Expover

This product is a classic rapeseed population (variety), which dictates the specific management approach for the crop. Unlike modern high-intensity hybrids, DK Expover demonstrates greater flexibility and adaptability to various agricultural environments. Monsanto’s selection focus here is shifted toward plant development stability during the early stages of vegetation.

Phytosanitary Resistance and Oil Content

A key factor in crop survival under high infection pressure is natural resistance to phoma stem canker (phomopsis). The genetic code of DK Expover incorporates mechanisms to counter this pathogen, minimizing the risk of lodging and stand loss. Agronomic data confirms an oil content within the 40-45% range, which is the target benchmark for variety-type crops in this class.

Practical Application

Opting for DK Expover is justified for operations focused on balanced cultivation technology. Its varietal type provides specific plasticity: the plants can effectively utilize available nitrogen while building a high-quality grain structure. The stability of this variety allows agronomists to plan harvest schedules more accurately, without the risks of premature pod shattering often found in less resilient populations.
