Hybrid rapeseed 71 20 CL is a high-yielding variety with high winter hardiness, ensuring its stable growth and preservation under harsh climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 165-170 cm and are characterized by vigorous development in the autumn period, as well as medium-late regrowth in spring. Due to the Rlm 7 gene, the hybrid exhibits high resistance to phoma, significantly reducing the risk of disease infection and contributing to yield preservation.
This hybrid demonstrates high resistance to various stresses, including drought and pod cracking, and possesses regenerative ability in spring. Yield potential reaches 71 ц/га, while the average yield over test years is around 50 ц/га. Recommended sowing rates are 45-55 seeds per square meter, allowing for optimized seeding density depending on planting dates and growing conditions.
71 20 CL is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including the Forest-Steppe, Polesie, and Steppe. The hybrid shows stability under continental conditions, resistance to altitude fluctuations and dry periods. Oil content in seeds ranges from 47–50%, making this variety attractive for high-quality oil production.
