Arugula PRIMARIS

Reliable Yields for Professional Greens Production

Arugula "Primaris" from the French breeder Clause is the preferred choice for commercial producers focusing on continuous harvest cycles. For an agronomist, the main advantage of this variety is its predictability. Whether grown in open fields or protected environments, the plants exhibit vigorous growth, which is essential for maximizing crop turnover throughout the season.

Key Cultivation Insights

• Growth Cycle: The variety features rapid rosette formation, allowing for shorter intervals between sowings to optimize land utilization.
• Stress Resistance: Clause genetics are known for their resilience. Primaris shows strong tolerance to environmental stress, reducing the risk of premature bolting during sudden temperature fluctuations.
• Market Quality: The leaves possess a signature nutty and peppery flavor highly valued in the fresh salad market. The dense leaf texture ensures excellent shelf life and transportability, preventing wilting during the supply chain process.

Maintenance involves standard irrigation management and monitoring planting density. The variety responds well to fertilization but requires careful soil moisture management: excessive water can trigger fungal issues, while drought intensifies the spicy notes of the leaves. With proper management, you achieve a uniform crop with minimal waste. Primaris is a business-grade solution designed for those who prioritize the aesthetic appeal and long-lasting freshness of their final product.
