Cupidon Arrows are a medium-maturing, biennial, thin-leafed rocket variety, characterized by rapid growth and high yield. The period from full germination to the first harvest is 28-38 days, and the rosette height is typically in the range of 20–30 cm. Leaves are long, narrow, smooth, with lyrate-pinnatifid edges and a bright green shade; the flower is light yellow. The mass of one rosette ranges from 15 to 35 grams.
The variety has several agrotechnical advantages: it is cold-hardy, drought-resistant, and resistant to bolting. Due to its biennial nature, rocket can continue to grow after leaf cutting – this allows for greenery production throughout the summer and even into the following year, especially in the Non-Black Soil region, where the plant winters well. Cut greenery retains freshness for a long time.
The culinary qualities of Cupidon rocket are highly valued: the taste is sharp, mustard-nutty with a mild pungent aroma, making it an excellent addition to salads, sides, sauces, and meat dishes. The greens contain much vitamin C and iodine, as well as nutrients that promote increased hemoglobin levels, reduced cholesterol, and a tonic effect on the body.
