Description MICHURINSK 12
Michurinsk12 is a clone-rootstock for apple trees, developed and patented by the Michurinsk State Agrarian University. The rootstock features enhanced frost resistance: the root system withstands temperatures up to -14 °C, ensuring stable growth even in harsh climatic conditions.

The key advantage of the rootstock lies in its high root-forming ability and resistance to major diseases. It is compatible with scion components and effectively responds to mechanized cultivation methods, allowing for rapid production of rooted cuttings and high-quality saplings.

When bearing fruit, trees reach maturity as early as the 4th year after planting. Average yield is 250–300 centners per hectare, and the fruit is characterized by good taste and quality. The rootstock is resistant to scab and powdery mildew, which reduces the need for plant chemical protection.
