Jupiter

Jupiter sunflower is a medium-ripening hybrid designed for field cultivation to produce oilseed products. The plant's vegetative period ranges from 100 to 105 days, ensuring optimal seed maturation under Ukrainian conditions. This hybrid is distinguished by high yield and suitability for various agro-climatic zones, particularly in the central-black-earth and north-Caucasian regions.

The Jupiter sunflower plant is characterized by tall growth and lack of branching, which facilitates care and harvest collection. The upper stem part has strong pubescence, while leaves are medium-sized, heart-shaped, and green without anthocyanin coloring. The head is of medium size, turned halfway downwards, which promotes efficient seed formation and maturation. Seeds contain a high oil level—approximately 50.1%, making the hybrid particularly valuable for the oilseed industry.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to downy mildew, reducing loss risks, but is moderately susceptible to phomopsis and susceptible to smut and white mold.
