Sander sunflower is a high-yielding hybrid of intensive type, designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polesie, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. This medium-maturing variety has a vegetation period of 107-111 days and plant height ranging from 165 to 175 cm. Large heads are well-filled with seeds, contributing to a high yield potential of up to 55 centners per hectare. The 1000-seed weight is 55-65 grams, and oil content reaches 50-55%, making this hybrid attractive for high-quality oil production.
One of the key features of Sander sunflower is its high resistance to common sunflower diseases, including downy mildew (resistance level A-G), as well as high drought and stress tolerance. These characteristics ensure stable yields even under adverse weather conditions and various cultivation technologies. The hybrid’s seeds are certified, guaranteeing their quality and authenticity.
The Sander hybrid is versatile and suitable for planting in areas with moderate and adequate moisture, expanding its application potential in agriculture. Its high productivity, reliability, and adaptability make it an advantageous choice for farmers aiming to achieve maximum yields and high-quality raw material for processing.
