NA Imilend

Sunflower NA Imilend is a high-yielding, mid-ripening hybrid developed by Nerthus and registered in the State Register of Ukraine in 2020. This simple oilseed hybrid has a vegetation period of 114–116 days and plant height of 170–180 cm. The sunflower head is slightly convex with a diameter of 25–27 cm, and the 1000-seed weight is 65–68 g, providing optimal agronomic traits for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine.

NA Imilend is characterized by high oil content — oil content in seeds ranges from 49 to 52%, making it attractive for oilseed production. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases and pests, including false powdery mildew, phomopsis, rust, sunflower moth, and sunflower downy mildew, including seven races and some new strains. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to lodging, drought, and shattering, which contributes to stable and high yields with a potential of 35–45 ц/ha, reaching 42.1 ц/ha in 2020.

It is recommended to grow NA Imilend using the Clean Field technology with insurance herbicides Euro Lang and Euro Land, ensuring effective protection of crops and optimal conditions for plant development. Planting density should be 40–45 thousand per hectare in the Steppe and 50–55 thousand per hectare in the Forest-Steppe. Seed germination rate is within 20–21%, which is also an important parameter for processing. All these characteristics make NA Imilend a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
